Education
Our adult classes present thought-provoking, interactive classes that transform knowledge into wisdom, to deepen and strengthen faith so we can live in the world but not of the world
We provide the youth of HCC with quality Bible education and quality Bible teachers . "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
- Nursery Class for ages 0-2.
- Celebration is held during the 8:30 and 11 AM worship services for kids ages 2-5. These classes split into two groups: one for ages 2 & 3 and the other for ages 4 & 5. Children have fun singing Bible songs, learning Bible verses and playing together.
- Sunday School Classes are held at 10 AM for 2’s and 3’s, 4’s and 5’s, K and 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 4th through 6th grades. These classes are focused on learning the Bible.
- Kids’ Church is held during the 11 AM worship service for kids in K – 3rd grades. This is a time of praise & worship, Bible reading, and prayer to prepare kids to eventually transition to our “grown-up” church services. We also teach Bible verse memorization and help the kids learn the books of the Bible.
- Kids’ Quest is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM - 8 PM, during Adult Small Groups. The kids enjoy a meal together then break out into age appropriate groups to play, laugh, and learn about God while developing friendships and accountability to one another. We have great fun and friends are welcome!
Men's Ministry
As iron sharpens iron, learning from each other strengthens men. As men, husbands, fathers and teens, the men in our body are encouraged to grow in their God given roles and to exhort one another toward maturity in Christ.
Small Groups Ministry
Our small groups currently meet on Wednesday evenings. We drop our kids off at the church at 6:30 pm then meet with our small groups in nearby homes. The children stay at the church, enjoy a meal together, then break out in age appropriate classes and enjoy Kid's Quest, a time of learning the Word and activities. Our teens have their own service called IMPACT!, a time of praise, worship, and fellowship.
Teen Ministry
Our teen ministry offers a vibrant, energetic ministry to the youth of the Carrollton area. Our teen ministry includes Sunday morning Bible Study, small group meetings on Sunday evening, and a Wednesday night IMPACT worship service. Our IMPACT worship time gives teens the opportunity to share exciting and relevant worship, fellowship and Bible study.
Women's Ministry
The women's ministry provides regularly scheduled opportunities for women to meet together to fellowship, encourage, and learn from each other. Meeting as a group establishes a sense of community and strengthens the relationships among the women of the church. As wives, mothers, daughters, and teens, the women of our body are encouraged to embrace their God-given roles and to strengthen each other and the community in Christ.
Young Adults (YAM's):
- Maturity: to help each young adult grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and socially and to help each person accept an adult identity.
- Integration: to make young adults a real and vital part of church life, involved with all the members and ministries.
- Community: to give young adults "a place" in the church during a transition phase of life; to help young adults form meaningful relationships with each other.
- Evangelism: to reach out to other young adults in the community.
